About Lenelly

Lenelly is an Australian motherhood label designing elevated breastfeeding clothing and modern baby bags that help women feel like themselves again postpartum.

Created at the intersection of function, fashion, and longevity, Lenelly redefines maternity and nursing wear through a refined, contemporary lens. Each piece is designed to look like regular clothing — not breastfeeding clothes. Each bag is crafted to resemble a structured handbag — not a traditional nappy bag.

The result is a collection of modern wardrobe staples and thoughtfully designed pram bags that integrate discreet nursing access without compromising silhouette, quality, or style.

Lenelly exists for women who want comfort without sacrificing identity, and practicality without losing polish.

Designed for Postpartum, Worn Beyond.

Lenelly was founded on a deeply personal need: beautifully designed postpartum clothing that feels like real clothes.

The brand creates:

  • Breastfeeding-friendly tops with discreet nursing access

  • Postpartum wardrobe staples that feel elevated and effortless

  • Baby bags that resemble luxury handbags

  • Functional pieces designed to be worn long after breastfeeding ends

Hidden underbust zips, extended plackets, and thoughtful construction allow for easy feeding access, while remaining invisible to the eye.

Each garment is intentionally versatile: styled for school drop-offs, work meetings, travel days, and everyday life. These are not temporary maternity pieces. They are enduring essentials designed to move with you through seasons of motherhood and beyond.

Lenelly blends contemporary fashion with functional design to create breastfeeding clothing that feels timeless, modern, and unmistakably you.

The Founder

Lenelly was founded by Michelle, mother to her son Ronan.

After welcoming her baby, Michelle entered a postpartum season that was both beautiful and confronting. Her body had changed. Her hormones felt unpredictable. She was later diagnosed with postpartum hypothyroidism and experienced ongoing skin flare-ups, which adding to the physical and emotional adjustment.

Getting dressed became unexpectedly complex.

She needed clothing that allowed for easy breastfeeding access, yet she longed to wear “regular” clothes again — pieces that reflected her personal style and helped her feel put together.

Much of what she found in the maternity and nursing market felt overly functional or disconnected from contemporary fashion. She did not want to feel like she was wearing “maternity.” She wanted to feel like herself.

So she began designing the pieces she couldn’t find: comfortable yet chic breastfeeding tops, structured yet practical pram bags, modern silhouettes that honoured both motherhood and individuality.

The Meaning Behind the Name

Lenelly is deeply personal.

The name is a fusion of Michelle’s maternal and paternal grandmothers — “Leny” and “Nelly.” Both women embodied resilience, elegance, and strength.

After becoming a mother, Michelle felt a renewed connection to her own mum and to the generations of women who came before her. Lenelly became a tribute — not only to them, but to the lineage of women navigating motherhood in their own time.

Many Lenelly products are named after loved ones within the family, honouring the stories and women who shaped the brand.

A Personal Tribute, A Collective Experience

Lenelly is more than a breastfeeding clothing brand.

It is a personal project rooted in postpartum identity, maternal connection, and generational strength.

It is about designing nursing-friendly clothing that feels elevated rather than "frumpy". Creating baby bags that feel refined rather than bulky. Offering pieces that support the physical realities of motherhood while restoring a sense of familiarity in getting dressed.

Most of all, Lenelly exists to remind women that while motherhood changes your body and your days, it does not take away your style, your confidence, or your sense of self.

Sometimes, feeling like yourself again begins with what you wear.
